Fun4business collects user and customer-submitted, provided or displayed information from this Website, email messages, phone conversations, items sent by regular mail, and through other online social channels and networks including: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.

We are in receipt of your information when you voluntarily contact us via email, phone, in person, or through a social network site, as well as by submitting your information through one of our contact forms or signing up for our email newsletter and/or campaigns powered by MailChimp or other online service we utilize. The information submitted is variable and may include your name, phone number, email address, address, nature of your business, other business details, website and social media requirements. Additional information regarding your situation or circumstances may be exchanged during our interactions.

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Read the Gravatar service privacy policy here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media:

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How We Use Your Info

We use your business and personal information in the following ways:

  • To respond to your request(s)
  • To contact you for consultation or work requirements
  • To follow up with you
  • To contact you through our email distribution list, after you have signed up with informed consent

We does not share your identity, contact information or any information learned about you with a third party at any time, except as required by law.

Additionally, as per our signed Creative Agreement we have with our clients, we may reference your name, business and creative projects in our online portfolio, case studies or in client-provided testimonials, unless otherwise agreed upon.

How Long We Keep Your Info

We regularly purge our email, contact and other records every two years. For on-going long-term client relationships, we continue to retain your contact information in order to continue to work with you.

Otherwise, if you have been in contact with Fun4business within two years, we will retain your information on file. If you have made a purchase from Fun4business, we will retain financial records of the transaction for a period of 7 years for Canadian income tax purposes.

We canvas email subscribers, with no activity, bi-yearly to confirm they would like to remain on the list. You may unsubscribe from Fun4business’ email list powered by MailChimp at any time and at your own discretion. Once unsubscribed, you will no longer be in receipt of mailing list email or campaigns. Likewise, you may choose to ‘unfollow’, ‘unlike’, or unsubscribe from any of Fun4business’ social networks at any time, without consequence.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, tax, or security purposes.
