In general, the plan combines premium WordPress hosting, website updates, backups, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, and technical support into one simple monthly service.

Each website is a little different, so we can also customize your protection plan based on your website’s specific needs, functionality, and hosting requirements.

Yes. Before your Website Protection Plan begins, we’ll provide a simple agreement that outlines the services, pricing, and terms of the plan so everyone is on the same page.

We offer two Website Protection Plan billing options:

• $109/month (plus GST)
• $1,089/year (plus GST)

All prices are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD). GST is added to all invoices and is not included in the listed prices.

Payments are processed automatically through our invoicing system, FreshBooks. Once your plan is set up, you’ll receive recurring invoices based on your selected billing frequency.

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Annual plans receive a prorated refund for the unused portion. Either way, we’ll coordinate a smooth transition — whether that means handing over your hosting account, helping you move to a new provider, or transferring to self-managed hosting.

Yes. Our preferred hosting environment includes automated daily backups, along with additional backup and recovery options.

Backups provide an important safety net in the event of a failed update, technical issue, or security incident. If needed, we can restore a previous version of your website and work to resolve the underlying issue.

At minimum, monthly — updates are manually tested and validated. We also monitor for known vulnerabilities between updates. If a critical issue is identified, we act promptly and take appropriate action, whether that’s a patch, an update, or a recommended alternative.

If your website goes offline, we’ll investigate the issue and work to restore service as quickly as possible. Our monitoring system alerts us when a website becomes unavailable, allowing us to respond quickly when problems occur.

While no website can be guaranteed 100% immune from security threats, our goal is to significantly reduce the risk and respond quickly if a problem occurs.

Your Website Protection Plan includes regular WordPress, theme, and plugin updates, security monitoring, vulnerability alerts, and backups. These proactive measures help prevent many common security issues before they become serious problems.

In the event of a security incident, backups provide an important safety net and may allow us to restore your website to a healthy state while the underlying issue is addressed.

If you notice a technical issue with your website, let us know. For non-urgent issues, send us an email. If your website is down or you need immediate assistance, please call or text Allison directly.

Your monthly technical support time can be used for a wide range of website-related issues, including troubleshooting, plugin audits, DNS adjustments, hosting concerns, and other technical matters.

Most technical issues can be resolved within the included support time. If additional work is required, we’ll discuss the options with you and obtain approval before any billable work begins.

Content updates, design changes, and website improvements are covered separately under our Website Support services.

Yes. We’ll assess your setup, handle the migration, and minimize disruption to your site and email. Migration costs vary based on the complexity of your environment.

We do! Whether you’re using Gmail, Outlook, or on-site email accounts, we handle setup, DNS compliance (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and ongoing support so your messages are delivered reliably.
